Q: How do I submit a treasury to Etsy Treasury Hunter?

NOTE: ETH is not accepting treasury submissions at this time, and currently operates as an archive. All new posts are irregular and sporadic at best.
Q: How will I know if my treasury is chosen?
A: Previously, chosen submissions will receive an email notifying you that your treasury HAS been submitted. Due to the volume of submissions, treasuries that have not been selected do not receive a notification. Most approved treasuries are posted within 24 hours, but may be held onto for as long as 4 days, until it fits into the rotation. Diversity is key, so if you send in a pink treasury, and there is another pink treasury before yours, it may be held until 'pink' is ready to be cycled again.
BNR (buy and replace) and similar treasuries will not be accepted, as the items included change often and cannot be monitored by Etsy Treasury Hunter.
Q: My treasury wasn't chosen. Why not?
A: There are a number of factors that go into choosing treasuries. Perhaps a similar theme was just posted, an item in the treasury is one that is 'overused' in treasuries, or perhaps the color palette chosen (such as white/grey) is one that is often submitted. Treasuries submitted should have a distinct color OR theme, with well photographed items. Treasuries that feature a shop more that two times will not be accepted. Treasures that do not feature all 16 squares at the time of submission will not be approved.
If you submitted and were not chosen, don't give up! Due to the volume of treasuries I receive, I often have to turn down great treasuries that just don't fit in that day. Please continue to submit treasuries, chances are high that you will be featured!
UPDATE 9/13/2011: The volume of submissions has increased exponentially since the start of the blog. This is great news! This means that more people are visiting, and more people are viewing and clicking your items and treasuries. This also means that the chances of having your treasury featured have decreased slightly. I do mean slightly! I now chose 8 treasuries from the submissions that come in that day, with occasional picks directly from Etsy of my own choosing. If a treasury of yours has not been featured yet, don't give up! The more treasuries you submit, the greater the chances of having your treasury featured.
Q: How can I increase the chance that my treasury will be approved?
A: An exceptional treasury usually follows these guidelines-
Choose a distinct theme, mood, style, or color palette.
Choose items that are clearly photographed.
Choose items that accent or define your chosen theme.
Choose a variety of items from different areas of Etsy (clothing, jewelry, paper goods).
Create a creative treasury title that alludes to your chosen theme
Feature a variety of Etsy shops
There are always exceptions to the 'rules' so, if you have something daring,or innovative, don't be afraid to submit!
Q: Are there any themes that Etsy Treasury Hunter does not allow?
A: While themes such as artistic nudity, mild horror (think zombies), and animal products are accepted, Etsy Treasury Hunter DOES NOT accept satanic, racist, prejudiced, or obscene submissions.
Q: How can I help promote this blog and my treasuries?
A: Share, share, share! The more publicity Etsy Treasury Hunter receives, the more your featured treasury gets exposed. Comment on other treasuries, both on this site and in the actual treasuries comments. Twitter, Facebook, Stumbl, and Digg are great ways to spread the word. If you are in a group or team, invite others to submit their treasuries as well. The bigger we are, the more people we reach!
